According to the Xinjiang Coalfield Geology Bureau, since 2009, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has invested a total of nearly 1 billion yuan, and organized the coalfield geological exploration department to conduct a survey of the Santanghu Coalfield. On March 25 this year, the Santanghu Coalfield Exploration Project started as the nation's largest packaged coalfield exploration area. As of the end of November, the exploration area of the Santanghu Coalfield Exploration Project reached 6,450 square kilometers, the exploration footage reached 600,000 meters, 30 coal seams were found, and the maximum single-layer thickness was 47.25 meters.
