On the morning of October 14, 2011, the fourth meeting of the expanded council of the China Minmetals Chemical Import and Export Chamber of Commerce Tungsten and Tungsten Products Branch was held in Chengdu, Sichuan, and Mr. Wang Jiaqiang, the general manager of our company, attended the meeting.

 

Liu Yinan, Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce first introduced the global macroeconomic situation, analyzed the impact of the European debt crisis on the economy, and hoped that member companies could grasp the economic situation, strengthen communication with the chamber of commerce, and actively reflect their demands.

 

Zang Jinjun, Deputy Director of the Industrial Products Division 2 of the Department of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Commerce, explained and raised questions to the participants on the relevant policy formulation and quota allocation calculation formulas of the current tungsten product export quotas, and hoped that enterprises would develop sustainable and healthy development of the tungsten industry propose. The investigator Zhang Wei from the Quota License Bureau gave a brief explanation on the license status of tungsten products.

 

The directors, deputy director units and corporate representatives of the thorium tungsten products branch made a brief analysis of the operation of the tungsten products market in 2010 and the first three quarters of 2011, respectively.

 

Participants also held lively discussions on the total quota for tungsten products in 2012 and the current qualification requirements for state-owned export enterprises and export suppliers of tungsten products, and put forward relevant proposals and reached agreement to form a resolution.
