On the morning of March 28, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce held a forum of some provincial-level foreign trade enterprises to understand the situation of foreign trade exports of participating enterprises, the goals and work measures planned by the enterprises throughout the year, and listen to the difficulties and suggestions faced by the enterprises. Our company was invited to attend the meeting.

 

At the conference, companies generally reported that the situation this year was severe. Due to the impact of the European debt crisis, the international market was not very good. This year, they also face other difficulties, such as high interest rates on loans, resulting in increased financial costs and business costs; the cost of raw materials has been Growing; labor costs are also rising a lot.

 

Everyone's suggestions to the Department of Commerce mainly include: 1) Can the discount in the department be aimed at the total export volume instead of the increase. 2) I hope the Department of Commerce can help the Customs to speed up the progress of spot checks. 3) It is hoped that the Department of Commerce will help to speed up the time for electronic information matching, so as to increase the time for tax refund and write-off. 4) It is suggested that the Department of Commerce increase the support and subsidies for e-commerce of export enterprises. 5) With regard to the use of export credit insurance, it is suggested whether it is possible to refer to the coastal model, and the Commerce Department or the Chamber of Commerce will come forward to sign a unified agreement with the credit insurance company in order to get a lower rate, and then each foreign trade company applies insurance one by one.

 

Director of Commerce Xie, Deputy Director Qian and directors of related departments successively made speeches, hoping that companies are not limited to traditional thinking and traditional trading methods, and encourage foreign trade companies to go abroad to participate in exhibitions. Booth subsidies and even staff costs will be provided by the Commerce Department. Subsidies; Encourage companies to engage in more joint ventures and agents with factories to expand exports; Encourage foreign trade companies to go abroad and set up factories and locations abroad. The Department of Commerce also has some subsidy policies in these areas; in addition, the Department of Commerce is also considering New products and new markets will be subsidized; and some companies mentioned subsidies for special booths of the Canton Fair; regarding export credit insurance, the relevant departments of the Commerce Department will first investigate to see if it is feasible to follow the practice of the Coastal Chamber of Commerce.
