On July 17, 2012, the Second National Council of Tungsten and Tungsten Products was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi. Wang Jiaqiang, the general manager of our company, and Li Jinchao, the manager of the business department, attended the meeting. The meeting mainly includes the following:
1. Brief description of the use of quota permits for tungsten and tungsten products in recent years
2011 export APT 5637 tons, quota utilization rate 99.95%, tungsten trioxide 10512 tons, quota utilization rate 99.27%;
2012 export (January to June) APT 1614.60 tons, the quota utilization rate is 53.18%, tungsten trioxide 3334 tons, the quota utilization rate is 63.10%;
2. Appropriately adjust the quota license management system. In the future, the type and quantity of tungsten and antimony export quota licenses can be automatically converted online. The conversion principle is converted from low to high according to a certain conversion rate based on the processing of the goods.
3. The Chinese government is actively responding to the WTO, litigating and responding to WTO litigations on the export restrictions of rare earth and tungsten products in China by the United States, Japan, Mexico, and the European Union;
4. Participants will report to the leaders of the participating ministries and commissions about the different export value assessments of taxation of the customs exportation of tungsten and tungsten products by the Chinese customs when they declare for export. At the same time, the participants also agreed that the China Minmetals Chemical Import and Export Chamber of Commerce will submit our comments and suggestions on this issue to the relevant higher-level submission agency;
